WaterWays 2007: Rough Draft

WaterWays 2007, held in Denton at the University of North Texas, beginning March 13 through the 15, is the second biennial Water Conference and is open to the public. This year the conference is prepared and organized by the Philosophy of Water Project in association with other institutions and departments. Some key note speakers at the conference this year will include, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., which is apart of the Riverkeeper Organization. Also, Natarajan Ishmaran, the UNESCO-Secretary. WaterWays 2007 creates a union and convergence of Art, Science, Policy, and Philosophy. The conference is held to help spread the awareness of the important and critical water issues throughout the world, and it's main focus this year will be the water basins, specifically the Georgia-Brahmaputra-Meghna (GBM).
